Holiday Lights For Every Look

If you’re anything like us, you’ll be spending the next couple of Sundays decking out your outdoor space for the holidays. This will probably involve Santas, sleighs, poinsettias, bows and much more, and we’re certain it will involve lights. We’ve rounded up the top types you’ll want to consider before getting on the ladder.

Projector Laser Lights

You’ve likely seen these statement lights, which are formed on the backdrop of your home from a laser projector, creating fun patterns. You can make it look like it’s snowing red and green snow or have dancing, dazzling flakes the size of basketballs douse your home in Christmas spirit.

Fairy Lights

These delicate beauties are often linked together in bendable copper wire, letting you shape them to scale. Perfect for small areas where you’d like to create dimension, fairy lights give off a warm, build-able glow.

Solar Lights

No matter what type of light you go for this year, be environmentally-friendly about it. Solar powered lights harvest energy during the day when not in use, and then, voila! They create an enchanting scene at night.

Ceramic Lights

Throw it back to the last century with good old fashioned ceramic lights. These are enjoying a renewed popularity because of their vintage appeal and the steady, vibrant color they offer.

Rope Lights

LED lights encased in a clear tube are perfect for wrapping all the way up that tree. You can also do up your mailbox, light post, gate, fence or other spots that require a little more strategy when it comes to lighting.

Globe Lights

For a modern look, outline your home with these cool lights. They give a soft, round wash of color and speaking of color, they’re available in pretty much every one in the rainbow.

Icicle Lights

You don’t have to live in a snowy climate to get that striking icicle effect. String these from your garage or roof and mimic that freshly-fallen snow feeling.
